چکیده

Space borne radio frequency (RF) systems must cope with hard qualification procedures, including the evaluation of high-power handling capability equipment for space applications. Whatever electrical parameter is being measured, general rule thumb throughout a verification process to check whether system can operate up certain thresholds, which are defined ensure total reliability mission along its operative lifetime. Therefore, assessing and reducing uncertainty linked their measurement mandatory issue as it directly affects accuracy process, hence safety whole mission. This paper presents novel comprehensive study all variables affecting high RF power test activities. The focused on applications, and, in particular, multipactor testing, because they comprise largest number variables. not restricting case; fact, outcome this work applicable both ground As conclusion, complete testing obtained, where possible, mitigation actions have been also defined.
